A prequel to the 2009 film, "Orphan", "Orphan: First Kill" is a movie about a young girl named Leena Klammer who is taken in by a family of foster children after she is orphaned. The family soon realizes that Leena is not like other children and that she has a dark secret. When one of the foster children is killed, Leena is the prime suspect. The family must then find out the truth about Leena before it's too late.

Main characters: Esther, Mr. and Mrs. Coleman, Max

The Coleman's are a typical American family going through some very atypical circumstances. After the untimely death of their young daughter, they turn to adoption in order to fill the void in their lives. They choose Esther, a sweet and seemingly perfect little girl, who quickly becomes a cherished member of the family.

However, it soon becomes apparent that Esther is not as innocent as she appears. When another child in her orphanage is brutally murdered, all evidence points to Esther as the killer. The Coleman's are faced with a difficult decision - turn their backs on the girl they have come to love or risk their own lives trying to uncover the truth.

Max, the family's new dog, plays an important role in helping them unravel the mystery of what happened at the orphanage and why Esther seems to be at the center of it all.

What I liked about the movie:

A new movie about orphans killing each other for sport is sure to be a controversial one. "Orphan First Kill" is a new film that takes place in a dystopian future where orphaned children are forced to fight to the death in an arena for the entertainment of the wealthy elite. The movie has been criticized for its graphic violence and disturbing themes, but it also has its defenders who say that it's a brutal but honest look at the world we could be heading towards.

What I didn't like about the movie:

The movie Orphan: First Kill was interesting, but there were some things I didn't like. For one, the acting wasn't great. The characters didn't seem believable and the dialogue sounded forced. Additionally, the plot was a bit predictable. I figured out what was going to happen pretty early on in the film. Overall, Orphan: First Kill was an okay movie, but it could have been better.
